This team began as a labour of love for my first son, to teach him the values of life through this game I love so much.
Early on my son showed promise, so I built a team around him. That team went undefeated for 3 years straight. I witnessed a group of boys grow into great men through the game of baseball.
Through that experience, I realized my talent for instruction. With my old school mentality, I developed players for life rather than just winning games. That first team of 12 young men all went on to receive scholarships to great schools and a few even reached their dreams of being drafted into Major League Baseball.
I saw the immense value that this program had for these young men, so started all over with my youngest son. And so the tradition continued with developing a new generation of players. This time Team Miami was getting more recognition for the hard work the players were putting in. We travelled around the country to compete at the highest levels.
Through hard work and commitment to our system of training, we have accomplished more than we could ever ask for. Team Miami is more than just a travelling team, we’re a family. The respect that these players have for each other and the game only makes them stronger as people. Our goals is to develop this group of young men to become successful throughout their lives through this great game of baseball.
