If you're playing any high-impact activity like baseball, it's inevitable that you're going to sweat.

There is nothing more distracting than getting your eyes drenched in sweat or feeling it trickle down your face or arms. At the least, sweat can be distracting. At most, it can hinder your every performance. To eliminate this problem, many people opt to get a pair of sweatbands for just a few dollars.

Sweatbands are often overlooked but in reality, they have many uses for any athlete that's performing at a high level. They are not just a fashion accessory to make yourself look cool, they can be instrumental in keeping the sweat from affecting your performance.

Today, we'll be reviewing a pair of sweatbands from a company called Suddora. If you're in the market for a good pair of bands, it's highly recommended that you keep reading.

Why Wear Sweatbands?

Before we proceed with the review, let's talk about the actual benefits of wearing these sports bands.

  • Sweat absorption: The main purpose of sweatbands is, of course, to manage the sweat of the athletes. As mentioned, sweat is not just uncomfortable but it can easily affect your performance as well. This is especially true if you're playing baseball, tennis, basketball, and other types of high-impact sports. A sweatband or headband is a great, convenient way to wipe off sweat. This also prevents the sweat from trickling down your head or hands. This is especially useful for athletes since they don't need to walk to the side of the court or interrupt their running stride just to wipe their sweat.
  • Fashion accessory: On top of being super absorbent, many people wear sweatbands as a fashion statement. Unlike the sweatbands of old, today's bands are quite sleek and stylish. They are totally worthy of being a fashion statement.
  • Fundraising and causes: There was a time when sweatbands and baller bands have become synonymous with major causes and fundraising efforts. Many athletes would wear these bands to show their support towards major causes or simply to spread awareness. For example, pink sweatbands are a thing which is used for breast cancer awareness.

Available in over 10 different colors - Wrist sweatbands are great for sporting events. The wristbands work to prevent sweat from affecting your game. They also have a very stylish look to them and are comfortable to wear. The sweat wristbands are made of very high quality cotton, making them perfect for people in athletics, musicians and more.

Packaging

My Suddora sweatbands came in perfect condition and with no defects whatsoever. I guess that's to be expected since they're textile items.

The bands came in a see-through cellophane so you can see the product right away. There is a label and from the front, you can see the name and logo of Suddora, then below is the type of item that you are getting. At the back, you'll see the Suddora website.

The bands are sold separately so they are also packaged individually. I ordered two different colored pairs which are black and orange. I must say that the colors are rather vibrant with some good quality tones.

Once you open the seal, you'll find that each sweatband comes in a cardboard insert to make sure that they retain the shape. The packaging of the product will not likely blow anyone's mind but the company really did get the job done.

First Impression

After having the sweatbands in my hands, I must say that I am very impressed with their quality. The material they have used is very soft which offer some level of comfort while wearing. Once you flip the band inside out, you'll see the care tag and with the materials used which are 80% Cotton, 12% Spandex & 8% Nylon.

As I have mentioned, the colors of these bands are very vibrant at least with the orange pair. The vibrancy of the color really gives off a high-quality feel, so it's job well done again by Suddora. I was also very impressed with the construction of the bands which only speaks more of their quality.

Another thing I've noticed is that the wristbands don't have the Suddora logo, a simple touch that I'm really a fan of. Overall, the first impression is very good.

Comfort

Let me just say that Suddora really nailed down the comfort of these sweatbands.

These bands are made of 80% cotton so it's easy to see why they're very comfortable. While wearing them, they feel very soft on my skin and it feels that I am not even wearing them. The spandex component of the bands really helped with providing a great fit for my hands. They feel tight enough and they're not budging even while I'm running or doing an intense workout.

Comfort has always been a main criterion for me when it comes to clothing and accessories. Well, I'm happy to report that the Suddora sweatbands offer top-notch comfort.

Performance

So how do these bands hold up in terms of performance?

During workouts and games, the wristbands did a good job of staying dry. I sweat quite a lot during games and workouts, so you can trust that I really put these bands to the ultimate test.

They are super absorbent, and they stayed that way even after countless times of wiping off sweat more than I can say for other wristbands from more prominent brands. They did end up quite heavy after my routine and I had to wash them right away (which needs to be done anyway).

It's also worth noting that the nylon material added a lot of durability to these bands. Even after many uses, they look like they're still in brand-new condition and in tip-top shape. All I know is they're not about to break down anytime soon.

There are reports of absorption and quality issues but that seems to be always the case with products like these. In my experience, these bands performed as intended.

Overall, I'm really happy with the performance of these wristbands.

Pricing

These Suddora bands are available individually but you can also get them by pairs and even by bulk (if you visit the company's official website). You can get them individually for around $2.79 which is a great price, especially when compared to other products. In contrast, similar bands can run you $9.95 to $13 for a pair.

With that said, Suddora succeeded in adding a lot of value to these wristbands. They are very comfortable to wear and are made of different materials that feel great to the skin. They are also tough and long-lasting, thanks to their superior construction. Even after many washes, the bands never looked like they've seen better days.

Hands down, this is one of the most affordable sweatbands that you can get in the market. But don't get us wrong, they're also very comfortable and offer good performance. Just a great value overall.

Pros:

  • Good absorption
  • Tough and durable
  • Available in a huge range of vibrant colors
  • Very comfortable
  • Good materials
  • Comes from a good sporting brand-new

Cons:

  • Some issues with absorption
  • Should be available in pairs as some might make the mistake of purchasing only one band

What Other Buyers Have Been Saying

As of this writing, the Suddora Wrist Sweatband has a rating of 4.3 stars out of 5, with 371 customer reviews on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised that this band is highly-rated. While I do love these bands, they don't offer much in terms of features.

From the positive reviews, I gathered that many buyers love the fabric of the bands. Many people are pleased particularly with the comfort and fit. A few people commented that the fit is quite tight but still not within uncomfortable levels. Many also have the fact that they're very stretchable. A few reviewers also pointed out how the bands are well made.

As you might expect, many users love the fact that they are affordable. A lot of them have opted to buy in bulk, especially when there's a wide range of vibrant colors available. With that said, many buyers also enjoyed that these came in many different colors which are handy for matching outfits.

On the other hand, there are a few reviewers who pointed out the absorption issues. In addition, there are users who think that the quality of the bands is not that good. Many are also disappointed with the thickness of the product.

However, perhaps the most major complaint about this accessory is the fact that it's not available in pairs by default. In one Amazon listing, many placed their orders, expecting that they're getting a pair. By the time the item has arrived, they ended up receiving only one band.

I am guessing that those are older reviews because it seems that Suddora addressed this issue and actually did a better job of pointing out that the listing is only for one sweatband.

Main Competitors

If you find that the featured product is not for you, here are some alternatives that you can consider:

Under Armour Men's 3" Performance Wristbands

The Under Armour Men's 3" Performance Wristbands are the perfect accessories for high-intensity activities.

Made from 96% Polyester and 4% Rubber, these bands strike a balance between comfort and performance. The material actually wicks sweat and moisture with a fast-drying technology. More importantly, this band is actually sold in pairs, so there's no confusion here.

This is a great option if you want to go with a more prominent brand.

ColorYourLife Colorful Sports Wristbands

The ColorYourLife Colorful Sports Wristbands is available for $15 for 10 pairs, so you are looking at a great value here.

The bands are lightweight so they won't weigh you down or make you feel like you're wearing wristbands. It also does a good job of absorbing sweat but still manages to be dry. But of course, the biggest draw here is the wide assortment of colors which should be great for matching your clothing or Fitbits.

This is a great option if you want bands that are affordable without sacrificing quality.

ONUPGO Sports Wristband

The ONUPGO Sports Wristband is yet another great pair that should serve you well during games and workouts.

Made from 70% Cotton, 25% Latex thread & 5% Polypropylene fiber, this band offers a good level of comfort while keeping it stylish. The material also allows a good deal of durability, so this one should last you a long while. It also has moisture-wicking which is always a good feature to have.

At $7.59, this is a more expensive option than our featured product. However, this might actually beat Suddora's band in terms of performance.

The Verdict

There's a reason why the Suddora Wrist Sweatband is such a hit among athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

From the price to the performance, these bands simply get the job done. As of this writing, my first pair is still rocking it and that's considering that I always hit the gym and play sports.

If you're looking for high-performance sweatbands that will not break the bank, I highly recommend this pair.
