There is only one way to develop fast hips for hitting a baseball - practice. Not only practice, incorporate the correct drills that force the correct hip turn. Then and only then will players begin to see the power they have to hit a baseball consistently and with authority. It would be nice to say this will come easily and or overnight, but the reality of it is that it takes thousands of repetitions to develop fast hips. With that in mind, hitters need to start at a young age and today, so they begin the process of using and squaring the hips when hitting a baseball. This is the 4th of a series of hitting drills and videos to help set players in that direction, as well as giving baseball youth coaches ways of teaching the correct hitting fundamentals. Good Luck.
