The reality is if that's truly their focus and developing players is what they do then you should see results. If a team claims to be a development team, but never improves nor do the players improve, then you're likely just on a bad select baseball team.
Now a number of circumstances can be the cause; poor coaching, no talent, lack of proper practices, age issues, team chemistry, the list could go on. That said, at the end of the day it's still a bad team and no one wants to continue playing with a team that's not improving or getting better. It's not good for the kids or the parents.
