The Sports Academy of Pensacola, LLC

We are a new facility, having opened in August 2021. We started with 3 teams the first season and have doubled in the fall. We are looking to double that for Spring 2023, but we are looking to add additional, quality, or at least driven athletes, in both baseball and softball, who are looking to compete at the next level, as well as stellar coaches who want to join our new program and help it grow! Owner Marty Lister, a left-handed pitcher, who threw 91-95 mph at the high school level, was drafted 7th round in the MLB and played for the Cincinnati Reds for 5 years, the Houston Astros for 1 year and the Arizona Cardinals for 1 year before retiring. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mindy, who is the majority owner of the Academy, and they have 4 kids, 1 son and 3 daughters, 3 of which who went on to participate at the collegiate level, and the last daughter is a freshman in high school playing on the power teams for travel volleyball, who has the same if not more athletic skills as her siblings and plans to play volleyball in college.
