We can't help but brag a little about our very own Tyler Townsend - Signed by the Orioles in 09 and retired with injuries in 2013. He still continues to be a local legacy in Sussex County! Sports at the Beach is a premier facility for Youth Baseball Tournaments, indoor/outdoor sports, and community recreation.
Sports at the Beach (SATB) Baseball is a youth baseball organization based in Delaware that provides opportunities for players to showcase their skills and compete at a high level. The organization was founded in 1999 by Steve Bandura and has grown into one of the most popular youth baseball destinations in the country.
SATB offers a variety of tournaments for players from 8U to 17U age groups, including summer and fall events. The organization hosts tournaments at their state-of-the-art complex in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, which features 16 pristine fields with Bermuda grass and professional-grade amenities. The facility also includes batting cages, bullpens, and a full-service concession stand.
