The Fort Worth Aces Baseball Club is a youth baseball organization that was founded in 2010. We began our journey with two teams and the idea that developing players on and off the field is far more important than winning trophies.
In the relatively short time since we formed our ballclub, we have experienced an overwhelming show of support and growth from players and parents alike. We have grown from our original two teams in 2010 to eleven teams taking the field in the spring of 2017.
But the Aces family isn’t just about winning tournaments and filling a trophy case. We also believe in fostering the dreams and ambitions of our players as well. One of the ways we do this is by bringing guest speakers in to talk to the players about their success and what it took for them to achieve that success.
In January of 2017, Brandon Finnegan of the Cincinnati Reds came to our facility to visit with the players. Brandon was born in Fort Worth and attended Southwest High School before going on to play baseball at TCU. Brandon was drafted in the first round of the 2014 major league draft by the Kansas City Royals where he became the first player in history to play in the College World Series and the MLB World Series in the same year.
In February of 2017, Yovani Gallardo will be making an appearance at our facility as well. Yovani attended Tremble Tech High School in Fort Worth before being drafted in the second round of the 2004 Major League draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Our approach to developing our young people has not only produced success for us as a team but has also produced individual success for many of our players. Some of which have gone on to play Varsity baseball as early as their freshman year in high school.
In 2014 our 10U program won the titles of USSSA State Runner-Up, USSSA Alabama World Series Runner-Up, The Pony Elite World Series Champions.
In 2015 our 11U program won the title of The Pony Elite World Series Champions, and our 15U program won the titles of USSSA Star Runner Up, and USSSA World Series Runner-Up.
In 2016 our 12U program won the titles of USSSA Super Select NIT Champions and USSSA State Champions
The success of the Aces lies in the vision, the values, and the method we all believe in so strongly. Our vision is to provide an organization based on quality coaching and instruction to help ensure the opportunity to anyone with the dream and drive to play baseball. We emphasize the values of working hard individually to produce success as a team. And our method is to surround our players with positive influence, to instil an understanding of what it is to be a part of the team, and expose our players to people who once shared the same dream and went on to successful baseball careers.
