Every kid that has developed through our program that has tried out for their high school team has made their team, but is that enough? Every student athlete that has graduated high school in our organization has had the opportunity play collegiate baseball, but is that enough? A few of our young men that have come through the organization has had the opportunity to play pro baseball, but is that enough? Teaching these young men how to play baseball is the easy part! Getting our student athletes ready to compete in high school and college to play baseball is the easy part! In reality these young men will be husbands and fathers a lot longer than they will be athletes. Our goal at the Texas Bluechips is to help these young men see who they can become rather than who they are now. It is our goal to implement life skills, and to find a way to make learning enjoyable while at the same time passionate. We believe in setting the bar not only as coaches, but as leaders. We strive to bring out the best in our student athletes! There are times times when we have to push our student athletes. There are also times when we may have to pull our student athletes. However, at the end of the day if your players trust you, there will be no resentment. It's about helping our young men see the bigger picture! Trophies will one day tarnish and become objects of the past, but what you learn will be embedded in you forever. Don't focus so much on the destination that you forget to enjoy the journey!
